Well the plane ride was uneventful. We landed in Milan, picked up our luggage, ate some lunch (I had Turkish food), and then got on the train for Vicenza. We are staying in a hotel at Vicenza.
Being jetlagged, a nap on the train seemed like a good idea at the time. Unfortunately, my comrades didn't awaken me until they were deboarding. I quickly gathered my belongings and made for the exit just as the train pulled away from the station.
Two very nice and beautiful Italian girls assured me it would be okay and I could catch a train back at the next station. They got off on that stop, helped me purchase a return ticket and showed me the platform I needed.
As all good stories end, I made it back safely. Now I'm enjoying free wireless internet in the hotel, getting ready to do something fun this evening, as I am no longer jet lagged from my nice nap.
